Past Projects
Trail Mix has facilitated the completion of many types
of projects in the years since its formation in 1993 – trail
building and improvements, planning and public processes,
education, celebration, fundraising, and as stewards for
particular public areas. Gradually, we will add links from
this web page to documents that may be important for gaining
a better understanding of these efforts. In the meantime,
our newsletters [link to News > Articles & commentary]
and various articles in the Juneau Empire provide brief summaries for many projects.
Trail building & improvements
In recent years, it has been possible to document progress
by taking digital photographs of many trail building
and improvement projects. Please view the
album of
photographs taken by Executive Director, James King,
Jr. and Project Coordinator, Colby Shibler.
