Membership
Anyone who supports the mission of Trail Mix and believes
in the benefits of a mixed-use trail system may become
a member. Membership categories and dues are
- Individual $25
- Family $35
- Donor/Corporation $100
- Patron $250
 Membership dues are paid annually with an anniversary
date of January 1st of each year, and members may opt for
either voting or non-voting status. Voting members have
the power and duty to elect members of the Board of Directors
when vacancies occur. Voting takes place in person, by
proxy or ballot at the annual meeting each Fall.
Trail Mix operates as a non-profit corporation under Alaska
Statute 10.20.011, so donations in excess of membership
dues may be tax-deductible and receipts will be provided
for tax purposes.
 Members receive a newsletter twice per year with updates
on projects and activities.
Trail Mix welcomes members’ participation in volunteer
work crews and will provide sufficient training in safety
and use of equipment to meet standards set by the contracting
agency. The organization also welcomes members’ participation
in educational and fundraising activities and planning

Trail Mix members, as well as members of the public, are
welcome to attend monthly
meetings of the Board of Directors to offer their opinions
on the Juneau trail system during the Public Comment portion
of the agenda.
