Trail Mix obtains funding from

Agreements and contracts with agencies for materials,
supplies, and work crew labor
- Fundraising activities
such as auctions, sales of logo
merchandise, trail guides, etc.
- Memberships
- Donations
of cash, equipment, materials, supplies
- Grants
- Corporate sponsors
Contracts with agencies cover most work crew labor
costs as well as trail-building materials. Fundraising
and grants cover the salaries of the Executive Director,
Project Coordinator,
and part-time Office Manager and many
operational costs. Trail Mix currently leases office
and equipment storage
space from the City & Borough of
Juneau but will eventually seek a home
of its own or share
office
space other non-profit
groups.
